Of Sinners and Saints and the Subject of Repentance

1 John 3:8b says, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

If destroying the works of the enemy was Jesus’ main purpose, shouldn’t that also be the main work of the Church?
